Job Description

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
-
A member of the Health Care Team who provides patient services by participating in the delivery of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular radiologic procedures in the Catheterization Lab. Other duties may include providing care in Cardiology Diagnostic areas as assigned after completing appropriate demonstration and documentation of competency (i.e. assisting with stress testing, performing 12 lead EKG). This position requires on call rotation with 45 minute response time.

QUALIFICATIONS
-
Professional/Educational
-
Graduate of Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent.
-
A.R.R.T. registered with I.E.M.A licensure (or eligible) preferred.

Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Certification in Interventional Radiology with A.R.R.T. or RCIS preferred.

DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.

ACLS certification within 6 months of hire date.

Ability to follow directions accurately.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
