This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Full-Stack Developer / Shopify Expert (eCommerce CRO Focus) based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to take direct ownership of the performance, usability, and conversion of high-traffic Shopify storefronts. You will proactively identify opportunities, implement improvements, and run experiments designed to generate measurable business results. The position combines hands-on full-stack Shopify development with conversion rate optimization, performance engineering, and customer experience improvements. You will work across Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Shopify APIs, themes, apps, and custom storefront functionality. Close collaboration with marketing, design, and product teams will help turn ideas into tested, high-performing experiences. Success will be measured through tangible improvements in conversion rates, site speed, testing velocity, and overall storefront performance.

• Identify and implement front-end and back-end improvements across Shopify storefronts, landing pages, product pages, and checkout experiences.
• Independently plan and execute A/B tests, CRO experiments, and user experience optimizations.
• Optimize page speed, mobile responsiveness, Core Web Vitals, and overall site performance.
• Build custom Shopify features, sections, and pages using Liquid, Shopify APIs, and third-party applications.
• Analyze analytics, heatmaps, customer behavior, and performance data to proactively identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to translate ideas into functional, tested, and high-performing web experiences.
• Monitor Shopify platform updates, app ecosystem developments, and emerging eCommerce CRO best practices.
• Maintain clean, organized, documented, and scalable code while following established development workflows.
• Track and communicate results from experiments and site improvements, using findings to guide future optimization initiatives.
• Take ownership of site issues and performance bugs, resolving them efficiently and minimizing their impact on customers and business performance.
• Establish a consistent pipeline of testing and optimization initiatives and become a trusted technical resource for Shopify development and CRO implementation.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Shopify APIs.
• Experience customizing Shopify themes, integrating third-party applications, and building custom sections and storefront functionality.
• Demonstrated experience delivering measurable improvements in eCommerce conversion rates.
• Strong understanding of website performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile responsiveness.
• Ability to independently design, launch, analyze, and iterate on A/B tests and CRO initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use performance and customer behavior data to guide decisions.
• Detail-oriented approach to writing clean, organized, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable taking ownership without constant supervision.
• Results-focused mindset with a strong interest in continuous experimentation and optimization.
• Experience with Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and heatmapping tools such as Clarity, Hotjar, or Lucky Orange is a plus.
• Familiarity with headless Shopify architectures or Shopify Hydrogen is a plus.
• UI/UX design experience or the ability to collaborate effectively with design teams is advantageous.
• Previous experience working in an eCommerce growth marketing environment is a plus.
