Position Summary

The Store Maintenance Team Member is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and employees throughout the dealership. This position performs routine janitorial and facility maintenance duties, ensuring all showroom, office, restroom, service, and common areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, waiting areas, and other common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Dust, clean, and sanitize furniture, counters, windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest waiting areas, showroom floors, and employee workspaces.
• Restock restroom and breakroom supplies, including paper products, soap, and cleaning materials.
• Clean interior and exterior entryways, sidewalks, and designated outdoor areas.
• Report maintenance, safety, or repair concerns to management promptly.
• Assist with setup, cleaning, and breakdown of dealership events and meetings as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Operate janitorial equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and other cleaning tools.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supply inventory.
• Support seasonal cleaning projects and special facility maintenance assignments.
• Ensure a professional appearance of the facility for all guests at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, custodial, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, reaching, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in facilities maintenance, janitorial work, or general repair preferred.
• On-the-job training provided for qualified candidates.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work in confined or elevated spaces when necessary.

Work Environment

Work is performed throughout dealership facilities, including service areas, offices, and outdoor grounds with exposure to tools, equipment, noise, and varying weather conditions in a hands-on maintenance environment.
