Driver Tech 2 Field Service in Medley, Florida at Eco Enterprises LLC

Position Summary

Field Service Technician II is responsible for diagnosing and repairing ECO windows and doors at customer homes and job sites. This position ensures repairs are completed safely, professionally, and efficiently while providing excellent customer service and supporting less-experienced technicians.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Diagnose and repair window and door issues, including determining whether problems are related to manufacturing, warranty, or installation.

· Communicate professionally with customers, distributors, supervisors, and coworkers.

· Safely operate hand and power tools and follow all company safety procedures.

· Inspect replacement parts for quality, document defective parts, and request replacements as needed.

· Complete service reports, document repairs, and submit work orders using the company's service software.

· Keep customer homes and job sites clean and return work areas to their original condition.

· Report recurring product issues to Field Service and Manufacturing leadership and recommend corrective actions.

· Assist with training and supporting less-experienced Field Service Technicians.

· Maintain and safely operate the assigned company vehicle, tools, and equipment.

· Work independently or with other technicians to complete assigned service calls.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Basic English communication skills; bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

· Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in window and door manufacturing, installation, or repair.

· Working knowledge of ECO products, warranties, and repair procedures.

· Experience in Field Service preferred.

· Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.

· Ability to use an iPad, tablet, or similar device to review schedules and document service calls.

· Valid Florida Class E driver's license and driving record that meets ECO's Safe Driving Policy.

· Ability to work independently, troubleshoot problems, and exercise good judgment.

· Ability to read a tape measure, follow instructions, and perform basic measurements and calculations.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. and move heavier windows, doors, glass, and frames with assistance or appropriate equipment.

· Ability to work at heights using approved lifts, scaffolding, or other equipment.

· Ability to work at residential, commercial, and construction sites, including outdoors in varying weather conditions.

· Ability to drive for extended periods and work overtime as required.

Travel Requirements

Travel to customer locations and job sites is required. Overnight travel may be necessary. The employee must reside within the assigned service territory and within 45 minutes of the assigned warehouse.
