Houseman - Evening Shift in Pensacola, Florida at TEL Staffing & HR

TEL Staffing is now hiring an Evening Houseman for beautiful resort on Pensacola Beach.

Position Summary:

The Evening Houseman plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall guest experience throughout the resort during evening hours. This position supports the Housekeeping team by ensuring public areas, guest corridors, beach access points, and back-of-house spaces remain clean, stocked, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional hospitality in a beach resort environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, pool areas, and beach access points.
• Perform routine inspections of resort grounds and public spaces throughout the shift.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, including delivery of amenities, linens, towels, cribs, rollaway beds, and other items.
• Assist Room Attendants with linen distribution, trash removal, and supply replenishment.
• Collect and transport soiled linens and refuse to designated areas.
• Stock housekeeping closets and storage areas with necessary supplies.
• Clean and maintain outdoor guest areas, including pool decks, patios, and beach walkways.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and damaged property to the appropriate department.
• Assist with meeting room setups, furniture movement, and special event support as needed.
• Follow all resort safety procedures, sanitation standards, and company policies.
• Provide courteous and professional service to guests and team members at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality experience required.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and reach overhead.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning tools safely.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.

Schedule:
Evening Shift: 3PM -11PM, weekends and holiday availability required.

Pay:
$15.00/hr

Work Environment

This position operates in a fast-paced beach resort setting and requires frequent interaction with guests, team members, and other departments. The role includes both indoor and outdoor responsibilities and may involve exposure to heat, humidity, sand, and coastal weather conditions.
