  • Operate and support databases across multi-cloud platforms such as AWS, OCI, and Azure, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database performance issues, including query tuning, storage optimization, and resource management.
  • Ensure robust backup, recovery, patching, and disaster recovery processes for critical production systems.
  • Manage large-scale database environments (15TB+), including user sessions, schemas, processes, and storage planning.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and monitoring systems for proactive issue detection and operational insights.
  • Support application teams and infrastructure groups with database-related requirements for projects and production releases.
  • Standardize database operations by creating and maintaining SOPs, automation scripts, and operational documentation.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24x7 support and rapid incident response.
  • Contribute to future database architecture decisions, focusing on scalability, reliability, and modernization.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator supporting enterprise-scale environments, especially with Oracle Database and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong hands-on experience with database performance tuning, backup/recovery strategies, and high availability configurations.
  • Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, OCI, or Azure, including managed database services (e.g., RDS, Aurora, or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of HA/DR technologies, replication, and database clustering concepts.
  • Ability to support 24x7 on-call rotations and handle after-hours incidents when required.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex database issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong customer service mindset.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams supporting development, DevOps, and infrastructure engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Nice to have experience with tools such as Dynatrace, OEM, Tanium, Oracle Data Guard, or GoldenGate.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary aligned with experience and market standards.
  • Hybrid or flexible working arrangements depending on team and operational needs.
  • Exposure to large-scale, mission-critical cloud database environments.
  • Opportunity to work across leading cloud platforms including AWS, OCI, and Azure.
  • Professional growth in advanced database technologies, cloud operations, and performance engineering.
  • Inclusive and collaborative work culture focused on continuous learning and improvement.
  • Health, wellness, and employee support programs (varies by region and eligibility).
  • Long-term career development opportunities in global infrastructure and database engineering.
