Position Summary

The Director of Operations is responsible for leading and supporting multiple Twin Peaks restaurant locations within an assigned region. This role drives operational execution, financial performance, and team development while ensuring consistent adherence to brand standards.

The Director partners closely with General Managers to improve performance, develop talent, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Execution

· Oversee day-to-day operations across assigned locations to ensure consistency in service, food quality, and brand standards.

· Conduct regular restaurant visits to evaluate performance and provide coaching.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Financial Performance

· Drive sales growth, profitability, and cost control across the region.

· Analyze P&L statements, identify opportunities, and implement corrective actions.

· Monitor key performance indicators including labor, food cost, and inventory.

People Development

· Coach and develop General Managers and leadership teams.

· Identify and build internal talent pipelines for future leadership roles.

· Support hiring, training, and retention initiatives.

Training & Standards

· Ensure execution of all training programs, including Peaks Point and management development.

· Partner with Training teams to drive compliance and performance improvements.

· Maintain accountability for audit results and operational standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Partner with HR, Marketing, Facilities, and Finance to support business objectives.

· Support new store openings and local store marketing initiatives.


Reporting Structure
  • Report To: Regional Vice President | Vice President of Operations


Qualifications

· 5–8+ years of multi-unit restaurant management experience

· Proven track record of driving sales and operational performance

· Strong leadership and coaching ability

· Strong financial and operational acumen

· Ability to lead large, distributed teams

· Performance management and accountability

· Strong communication and stakeholder management

· Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment


Work Environment

· This position requires significant travel across restaurant locations, markets, and corporate offices. The role operates in both office and field environments.


Physical Demands

· Ability to travel frequently (50%+ depending on scope)

· Ability to stand, walk, and work in restaurant environments for extended periods
