Digital Marketing Specialist

ASCENDING Inc, is an advanced AWS partner specializing in a variety of services and solutions surrounding Cloud Migrations, custom web app development, data analytics/big data and DevOps. We are seeking a creative, data-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to develop, implement, and optimize online marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate has experience across multiple digital channels, strong analytical skills, and a passion for staying current with digital marketing trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across search engines, social media, email, and display advertising.
• Manage and grow the company's social media presence through engaging content and community management.
• Create and maintain content for websites, blogs, landing pages, and email campaigns.
• Monitor website performance using analytics tools and recommend improvements to increase traffic and conversions.
• Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings.
• Manage paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) within budget.
• Track campaign performance and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with sales, design, and content teams to develop marketing materials and promotional campaigns.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in digital marketing or a similar role.
• Experience managing social media platforms and paid advertising campaigns.
• Knowledge of SEO, SEM, email marketing, and content marketing strategies.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and marketing automation tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Google Ads or Google Analytics certifications.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with WordPress or other content management systems.
