Description: HTI is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Technician I for a manufacturer in Mt. Gilead, NC. These Direct Hire positions pay $32–$35 per hour, depending on experience. Positions work 12-hour day shifts on a fixed 2-2-3 rotation, from 6:00 AM–6:00 PM.

What You Need:

• Associate degree in Applied Industrial/Manufacturing Technology or equivalent experience
• Formal technical training and practical industrial experience
• High-pressure hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated material handling
• 480 VAC VFD and PLC logic troubleshooting
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
• Light machining, welding, and fabrication skills
• Ability to prioritize work and complete projects with minimal supervision

What Your Role Will Look Like:
The Electro-Mechanical Technician I will troubleshoot production equipment, complete maintenance tasks, and support improvements that help maintain efficient, quality manufacturing.

• Respond to equipment stoppages and routine maintenance needs.
• Complete preventive maintenance and identify developing equipment problems.
• Use mechanical and electrical testing tools to diagnose failures.
• Apply machining, electrical, and mechanical skills to daily repairs.
• Assist production during product changeovers.
• Plan, document, and implement equipment and process improvements.
• Communicate maintenance needs and repair status with production teams.
• Attend technical training, follow safety procedures, and maintain an organized work area.
