Enclosure Welder in West Jordan, Utah at Quality Electrical Systems

Quality Electrical Systems (QES) is seeking a skilled Enclosure Welder to support the fabrication of electrical enclosures, control panels, and modular E-House systems. This position plays a critical role in producing high-quality, code-compliant enclosures used in power, industrial, and infrastructure projects nationwide.
The ideal candidate has experience welding structural and sheet metal components, takes pride in craftsmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Weld and fabricate electrical enclosures, E-House
structures, and modular assemblies

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel,
stainless steel, and aluminum (as required)

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings,
blueprints, and weld symbols

• Fit, tack, weld, and finish enclosure components
to specification

• Ensure weld quality meets QES standards and
applicable codes

• Grind, finish, and prep welds for coating or paint

• Work closely with fabrication, panel, and
assembly teams to meet production schedules

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in
accordance with QES safety policies

Required Qualifications:
Previous welding experience in a fabrication or
manufacturing environment

• Proficiency in MIG welding (TIG experience a
plus)

• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to
quality

• Ability to safely operate welding and
shop equipment

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience welding electrical enclosures, control
cabinets, or modular structures

• Experience in industrial, power, or E-House
fabrication

• Familiarity with sheet metal and structural steel
fabrication

• Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent) are a
plus

• Experience working in a team-based production
environment
