Purpose:
Pre-Bake Floater Operator are primarily responsible for the production of the industrial baking machinery and support areas they are assigned to on a day-to-day basis; including mixers, ovens and pre-weigh ingredients.
Job Responsibilities:
Attend and be on time for all pre-shift production meetingsParticipation and adherence to all food safety and safety programsCompletion of assigned Alchemy courses that are required throughout the yearPerform day to day production operations when needed in either the oven area, mixing area and/or the pre-weigh areaPre-weighing and preparing of raw baking ingredientsCombining dry and wet ingredients in industrial-sized mixersEnsure cookie product ingredients are mixed as recipe specifiesEnsure cookie product quality conforms to quality standard though baking processBreaking down and installing rollers, dies, and other machinery partsWashing equipment and parts between production changeoversMaintain equipment and work area in a sanitary and working conditionAssist Mixer Operators in getting required ingredients as neededAssist Oven Operators in change-overs as neededAssist other areas of production as neededEffectively communicate all relevant information to other production shifts and employees Follow all: Company PoliciesGood Manufacturing PracticesFood Safety Management System Policies and ProceduresSanitation ProceduresSafety Procedures Other: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
