  • Evaluate applicable insurance policies and endorsements to determine coverage and support appropriate claim decisions.

  • Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date claim files that document investigation progress, findings, and decisions.

  • Prepare coverage letters and payment letters required to communicate decisions, settle claims, and formally conclude files.

Requirements:

  • Must reside within a commutable distance of Brevard, Osceola, and Indian River Counties in Florida.

  • Ability to investigate residential property claims ranging from routine to moderately complex.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess property damage, determine causes of loss, and evaluate coverage under applicable policies and endorsements.

  • Ability to identify coverage concerns and make well-supported claim determinations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with policyholders, insurance agencies, public adjusters, attorneys, vendors, and experts.
