Crouse Health is hiring a Critical Care Technician.

Schedule: 7:00pm-7:30am M-F rotating weekends & holidays

Pay Range: $20.91 - $36.95 / hourly

Critical Care Technician Position Responsibilities:

• Continuously and accurately measures length and height of patient's heart rhythm pattern using telemetry equipment.
• Analyzes the patient's heart rate and promptly reports any variances into medical/ nursing staff.
• Answers calls for assistance from patients and inquiries concerning patients from medical and nursing staff in a timely and professional manner.
• Accurately documents relevant patient care information in the patient's medical record.
• Cleans and maintains heart monitoring equipment and ensures batteries are charged and properly installed.
• Assumes other duties as assigned by department leadership.

Critical Care Technician Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a cardiac monitoring technician certificate program or possess recent on-the-job arrythmia training.
