  • Measure, mark, and prepare materials for cutting, drilling, and forming
  • Load, unload, move, and stage raw materials and finished products using manual methods or material-handling equipment as trained
  • Perform basic layout, fitting, and assembly work to support welders and fabricators
  • Deburr, grind, and clean metal components to required finishes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies and safety regulations
  • Inspect parts visually and with basic measuring tools to verify quality and report issues to supervisors
  • Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Assist with general shop tasks, including inventory, packaging, and shipping preparation as needed
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Participate in training to learn new tools, equipment, and fabrication techniques

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a metal fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or similar labor-intensive environment preferred but not required

  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • Willingness to learn how to read basic measurements (imperial/metric) and use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and calipers
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and products (often 50+ pounds) safely
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety practices
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
  • Willingness to work assigned shifts, including potential overtime as needed to meet production demands
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
