Position Title: Watson Engineering General Labor
Industrial Contract

Description: General Laborer

Watson Engineering is seeking dependable General Laborers to support production operations in a fast-paced metal fabrication facility. This role involves assisting with production tasks, moving materials, inspecting parts, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods and working required overtime as needed.

Responsibilities of a General Laborer

• Assist with general production and manufacturing duties as assigned
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the production area
• Support production processes to help meet daily goals
• Inspect parts and materials for visible defects or quality concerns
• Follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Operate basic hand tools and production equipment as needed
• Report damaged materials, safety concerns, or equipment issues to leadership
• Help maintain production flow in a fast-paced environment
• Work overtime as required to meet customer and production demands

Requirements for a General Labor

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good attendance and dependability are required
• Must be willing to work overtime, including possible weekends
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements for a General Labor

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion
• Ability to lift up to 35–50 pounds as needed
• Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and moving machinery

Work Environment

• Fast-paced metal fabrication facility
• Team-oriented production setting
• Exposure to manufacturing noise and moving equipment
• PPE required as assigned
