JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
- Facilitates problem and conflict resolution regarding hospital and physician accounts of patients and staff of Samaritan Health Services.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
- The Regional Business Office is responsible for the accurate and timely follow-up on claims for services provided at all lines of business in all service locations.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College preferred.
- Three (3) years experience in healthcare billing required.
- Experience or training in computer applications required.
- Hospital and Physician billing/collection experience preferred.
- Experience or training in billing compliance and basic coding preferred.
