Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Full Stack Developer (DISA) based in United States.
As a Full Stack Developer, you will support the engineering, modernization, and sustainment of mission-critical systems within a secure Department of Defense environment.
You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from application design and development through integration, testing, deployment, and operational support.
The role combines hands-on development with system integration, troubleshooting, cybersecurity, and cloud-based delivery.
You will work with Java, JavaScript, SQL, web services, middleware, databases, and modern CI/CD practices to build reliable and secure solutions.
Working in Agile teams, you will collaborate with product owners, technical experts, testers, security personnel, and government stakeholders.
You will also provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, investigate complex issues, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

- Design, develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot application components using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and relational databases.
- Develop and maintain secure REST and SOAP web services and integrations with external DoD and federal systems.
- Build and support system integrations, data flows, and ETL layers while maintaining data accuracy, reliability, and system performance.
- Implement software in accordance with applicable DoD cybersecurity, testing, configuration, and development standards.
- Support deployments and release activities in cloud-hosted environments, including AWS GovCloud and comparable platforms.
- Work within Agile/Scrum sprint cycles, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, demonstrations, estimation, and user story updates.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and subject matter experts to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical solutions.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for incidents, defects, and user-reported issues.
- Conduct root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and resolve performance or functionality issues.
- Monitor application environments and help maintain system reliability and operational performance.
- Create and maintain technical specifications, interface and integration documentation, test scripts, execution results, release notes, and version control records.
- Support Change Advisory Boards and Configuration Control Boards as required.
- Follow program-specific, DISA, and DoD development standards and processes.
- Collaborate effectively with government stakeholders, engineering teams, functional SMEs, testers, and security personnel.
- Identify technical risks, support mitigation planning, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate technical issues, solutions, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java/JDK, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and relational databases.
- Experience developing and integrating REST and SOAP web services.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience with middleware technologies such as WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat.
- Experience with data integration and ETL layers.
- Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or comparable government cloud platforms.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Experience applying defensive coding and secure software development practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a structured government environment.
- Ability to manage multiple development and operational priorities while maintaining high standards for security, quality, and reliability.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active U.S. Secret security clearance is required.
