As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will help improve workflows, processes, and operational performance across a growing healthcare organization.
You will work closely with teams across the business to understand how work gets done, identify opportunities for improvement, and help implement sustainable solutions.
The role combines process improvement, project coordination, operational design, change management, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will gain hands-on exposure to initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and the quality of care delivered to clients.
Working within a small, high-impact team, you will contribute to projects ranging from workflow mapping and root cause analysis to documentation, training, and performance measurement.

- Process Improvement: Support improvement initiatives across multiple departments by gathering requirements, mapping workflows, documenting processes, and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Project Coordination: Assist with project planning and execution by maintaining timelines, coordinating stakeholders, documenting meetings, and tracking action items through completion.
- Root Cause Analysis: Participate in root cause analysis, gap assessments, and structured solution-development sessions to identify operational challenges and potential improvements.
- Process Documentation: Help maintain a centralized repository of process documentation, standard operating procedures, workflows, and related operational materials.
- Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives by preparing communications, training materials, process documentation, and other resources needed to facilitate adoption.
- Performance Measurement: Track relevant operational metrics and help evaluate the impact and effectiveness of implemented process improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong working relationships across departments, listen to current-state challenges, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop practical and sustainable solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of operational excellence through curiosity, structured thinking, problem-solving, and a consistent focus on improving processes and outcomes.
- Operational Design: Contribute to the development of scalable workflows and solutions that support organizational efficiency and long-term operational performance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Operations, Public Health, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant Experience: Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in operations, project management, healthcare administration, process improvement, or a closely related area.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different functions.
- Technology Skills: Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, particularly presentation and spreadsheet tools such as Google Slides, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and Excel.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to understand complex workflows, identify operational challenges, analyze information, and contribute to structured improvement initiatives.
- Adaptability: Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple tasks, and remain effective in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Problem Solving: Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with genuine enthusiasm for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Healthcare Exposure: Experience or exposure to healthcare or behavioral health environments is preferred.
- Process Improvement: Familiarity with Lean or process improvement concepts, including value stream mapping and root cause analysis, is preferred.
- Data & BI: Experience with data or business intelligence tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is preferred.
- Project Collaboration: Previous experience working on cross-functional projects is preferred.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire; the position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
- Compensation: $60,000–$65,000 USD annually.
