This executive-level role is ideal for a strategic business development leader passionate about building high-impact partnerships and driving long-term revenue growth. You will lead partner ecosystem strategies across carriers, brokers, payroll providers, and technology alliances, helping organizations deliver seamless benefits experiences at scale. Working cross-functionally with product, operations, finance, and executive leadership teams, you’ll shape growth initiatives that directly influence market expansion and profitability. The position offers strong visibility across the organization and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment. This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in relationship management, strategic negotiations, and complex B2B ecosystems. If you enjoy influencing business strategy while delivering measurable commercial impact, this opportunity offers both challenge and long-term career growth.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute long-term business development and partner growth strategies focused on revenue expansion, retention, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Manage executive-level relationships with strategic partners including insurers, payroll providers, brokers, and technology firms.
  • Lead partner performance evaluations, strategic planning sessions, renewal discussions, and revenue optimization initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Finance, Operations, Legal, and EDI teams to align partner strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Build complex financial models, pricing strategies, and business cases to support scalable and profitable growth initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends, market shifts, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and strengthen competitive positioning.
  • Support executive-level sales activities, strategic client discussions, and partner-driven growth opportunities.
  • Serve as a key escalation point for complex partner issues while fostering long-term trust and collaboration across the ecosystem.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Extensive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, channel sales, or alliance management within a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated success driving partner-led revenue growth and managing enterprise-level stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong expertise in pricing strategies, financial analysis, margin management, and revenue modeling.
  • Executive-level communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and align multiple teams toward shared business goals.
  • Experience within benefits administration, HR technology, insurance, payroll, or related ecosystems is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with carrier integrations, indirect sales models, and platform-based growth strategies is considered a strong advantage.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support partner relationships and strategic business initiatives.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $140,000 to $150,000 USD plus potential performance-based incentives.
  • Remote-first work environment with flexibility and strong work-life balance.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Employer-sponsored retirement savings programs.
  • Professional development opportunities, career growth support, and learning resources.
  • Inclusive and collaborative culture that values innovation, accountability, and employee wellbeing.
  • Wellness initiatives focused on mental health, financial wellness, and overall employee support.
  • Opportunity to work within a recognized, award-winning workplace culture with strong leadership visibility.
