Job Description

Account Executive

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Account Executive in Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing technology environment focused on delivering enterprise-grade data infrastructure solutions for modern Windows ecosystems. In this role, you will take ownership of the full sales cycle, working closely with technical buyers, developers, and IT teams to drive adoption of innovative infrastructure technologies powering AI-enabled applications. You will play a key role in shaping go-to-market strategies, refining sales processes, and building long-term customer relationships in a rapidly evolving market. The position offers a high level of autonomy, entrepreneurial ownership, and the chance to directly influence commercial growth within an early-stage and highly collaborative environment. This role is ideal for sales professionals who thrive in technical SaaS sales, enjoy building from the ground up, and are motivated by meaningful customer impact and long-term growth opportunities.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and deal closure for inbound and self-generated opportunities
  • Build, maintain, and grow a pipeline of SMB and mid-market enterprise accounts across developer, DevOps, and IT infrastructure audiences
  • Conduct discovery calls, technical qualification discussions, and commercial negotiations with confidence and professionalism
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to improve lead generation strategies, outbound campaigns, messaging, and market positioning
  • Engage with channel partners, resellers, and technology ecosystem partners to strengthen business development efforts
  • Contribute actively to the development and optimization of sales playbooks, qualification frameworks, and CRM best practices
  • Manage customer renewals, retention initiatives, and proactive account outreach to reduce churn and improve customer satisfaction
  • Identify expansion and upsell opportunities within existing accounts to support long-term revenue growth
  • Represent the product and organization in customer conversations, online communities, and partner interactions with strong technical credibility
Requirements:
  • 3–7 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales within quota-carrying roles focused on technical or infrastructure-related products
  • Proven success selling to developers, DevOps teams, IT operations, or infrastructure buyers in SMB or mid-market environments
  • Experience with data infrastructure technologies such as Redis, MongoDB, Couchbase, Percona, or similar database and caching solutions is highly valued
  • Strong CRM management skills with experience using platforms such as Pipedrive, Zoho, or comparable sales tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead sales conversations independently
  • Ability to contribute to and improve sales processes, playbooks, and go-to-market documentation
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced startup or early-stage environments that require adaptability and ownership
  • Experience with channel partnerships, reseller ecosystems, or Microsoft partner environments is considered a plus
  • Knowledge of customer lifecycle management, renewals, retention strategies, and upselling techniques is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package including paid vacation and sick leave
  • Fully remote work environment with flexible working hours
  • Generous home office and equipment allowance
  • Access to coworking spaces or office facilities when preferred
  • Opportunity to work with an internationally distributed and highly skilled team
  • Startup-style culture focused on innovation, autonomy, and professional growth
  • High-impact role with direct influence on sales strategy and go-to-market execution
  • No business travel required, supporting flexibility and work-life balance
  • Strong career development opportunities within a growing technology organization
