Rope Access Technician in at Precision NDT LLC

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Rope Access Technician to join our team in the Turnaround Group (TAR) of the Oil and Gas Extraction Mining and Quarrying industry. As a Rope Access Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks at heights using specialized equipment and techniques. Your main objective will be to ensure the safety and efficiency of all operations while adhering to industry standards and regulations. You will work closely with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget, while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid IRATA or SPRAT certification
• Experience working as a Rope Access Technician in the Oil and Gas Extraction Mining and Quarrying industry
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NDT inspections
• Additional certifications such as NACE or API
• Experience with welding and fabrication
• Experience with rigging and lifting operations
• Experience with offshore operations

Responsibilities:

• Performing rope access work at heights using specialized equipment and techniques
• Conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment and structures
• Assisting with the installation and removal of equipment and materials
