About Role

As the Senior Engineer Asset and Delivery, you will provide senior technical leadership across asset lifecycle management, network asset engineering, investigations, quality assurance, renewal planning, and project delivery support. You will play an instrumental role in ensuring our Asset Management Systems are current, effective, and aligned with ISO 55001 requirements.

Key responsibilities include:
Leading asset lifecycle investigations, technical assessments, and corrective actions.
Supporting renewal planning, maintenance strategies, and investment decisions across network assets.
Developing and maintaining technical standards, engineering requirements, and asset management procedures.
Providing technical oversight and quality assurance across delivered works and project activities.
Supporting asset reliability improvement initiatives and asset performance analysis.
Leading or supporting new technology trials and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentoring and providing technical guidance across the wider business.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline; and OR At least 10 years' experience in asset management, maintenance, engineering, renewal planning, or network delivery.
Strong technical understanding of electricity distribution networks and assets.
Experience preparing business cases, project briefs, investment analysis, or regulatory evidence.
Strong analytical, technical, and written communication skills.
Current driver licence or ability to obtain a NZ driver licence.

Desirable experience includes:
Chartered Professional Engineer status or working towards registration.
Experience with GIS, asset management systems, Power BI, or similar systems.
Understanding of ISO 55001 asset management systems.
