This role sits at the intersection of law, finance, and emerging digital asset markets, supporting the development of institutional-grade trading products within a rapidly evolving crypto ecosystem. You will act as a key legal advisor to trading and product teams, helping shape how new financial products are structured, launched, and governed from both a regulatory and commercial perspective. The position involves close collaboration with executives, compliance, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that complex trading solutions are legally sound, scalable, and aligned with global regulatory frameworks. You will be deeply involved from early product ideation through contract structuring, negotiation, and ongoing compliance oversight. This is a highly strategic, hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where legal thinking directly influences product innovation and market expansion. It is well-suited for a senior legal professional who thrives in complex, high-impact, and technically nuanced financial environments.

In this role, you will provide end-to-end legal support for trading products and institutional offerings, ensuring regulatory compliance while enabling product innovation and commercial growth.

• Advise on legal and regulatory considerations related to digital asset trading, including spot, derivatives, margin, and prime brokerage activities
• Structure, draft, and negotiate complex financial and trading agreements, including ISDAs, collateral agreements, lending arrangements, and trading contracts
• Partner with product, trading, compliance, and executive teams to support the development and launch of new trading features and services
• Develop contract templates, legal playbooks, policies, and internal guidelines to support scalable business growth
• Provide guidance on market infrastructure, including trading venues, custodians, payment rails, and prime brokerage models
• Support interpretation and implementation of evolving regulatory frameworks applicable to digital asset markets
• Manage and coordinate external counsel where needed for specialized legal matters
• Advise leadership on legal, regulatory, and reputational risks impacting trading solutions and institutional offerings

This position requires a senior legal professional with deep experience in financial markets, strong transactional expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, technology-driven environment.

• 8+ years of transactional legal experience in financial services or related sectors
• Strong expertise in negotiating and drafting complex agreements such as ISDAs, trading agreements, prime brokerage contracts, and financing arrangements
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks applicable to trading, derivatives, lending, and digital assets
• Experience working with or advising on market infrastructure such as trading venues, custodians, and payment systems
• Active membership in the New York State Bar
• Ability to translate traditional financial legal concepts into digital asset and crypto contexts
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects independently
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience advising senior leadership
