Pay Range: $85,000.00 - $101,300.00 per year

Job Overview:

Join our Psychology team as a Psychotherapist (LCSW) at Children's Specialized Hospital in Toms River, NJ. In this role, you will evaluate psychotherapeutic needs and deliver individual, family, and group therapy to inpatient and outpatient populations. This is an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with a professional clinical team to support children, adolescents, and their families.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey required.
  • Master’s Degree with at least 1 year of clinical experience.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider Certification required.
  • Strong ability to relate therapeutically with professional teams, children, adolescents, parents, and/or significant others.
  • High level of tact, initiative, and judgment in the performance of clinical duties.

Scheduling Requirements

  • Full-Time (Day)

Essential Functions:

  • Evaluates patients' psychotherapeutic needs and provides effective individual, family, and group psychotherapy for inpatient and outpatient populations.
  • Identifies realistic goals for psychotherapy and disseminates clinical findings accurately and sensitively according to Department policy.
  • Works effectively as a team member in a hospital setting, providing effective team consultations and participating in program development and case conferences.
  • Provides clinical supervision to staff, fellows, interns, and externs as indicated.
  • Provides educational in-services to staff and community agencies as requested by the Supervisor.
  • Meets minimum annual expected clinical volumes.
