Shift: Day Shift | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (12-Hour Shift)
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a dependable De-Palletizer / Forklift Operator to join a growing food and beverage manufacturing team in Hendersonville, NC. This position plays a critical role in supporting production operations by ensuring materials are efficiently supplied to the production line while maintaining safety, quality, and food compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate de-palletizer equipment to efficiently feed bottles, cans, or packaging materials into high-speed production lines
• Utilize sit-down forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and stage raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility
• Monitor machine performance and make basic operational adjustments to maintain production flow and reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot minor equipment or material flow issues and communicate larger concerns to maintenance or supervisory teams
• Complete production tracking, scanning, and inventory documentation accurately using computerized systems and production software
• Support warehouse and production operations by maintaining consistent material flow to manufacturing lines
• Follow all company safety policies, SQF standards, GMP requirements, and food safety procedures
• Maintain clean and organized production and warehouse areas while adhering to housekeeping standards
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency and meet daily production goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous forklift experience required; forklift certification is a plus
• Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred, ideally within food and beverage environments
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing setting
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and time management abilities
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work throughout a 12-hour shift as needed
