ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES – what you’ll own and lead as a Regional Director of Operations

Caring for Others is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Regional Director of Operations to lead and elevate operations across multiple locations across the state. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving profitability, ensuring compliance, and building a scalable, high-performing organization.
As a key member of the Leadership team, you will translate vision into execution—standardizing operations, optimizing performance, and leading teams to deliver exceptional service while achieving strong financial outcomes.
Lead Operations & Performance· Drive and oversee all operational functions across multiple sites with full accountability for results
· Ensure service delivery is efficient, compliant, and consistently profitable
· Own and drive KPIs, performance metrics, and operational outcomes
· Identify gaps, solve problems, and continuously improve performance
· Step in to fill role gaps when needed to maintain operational continuity
Drive Strategic Growth· Execute strategies that fuel expansion, scalability, and operational excellence
· Evaluate systems, vendors, and partnerships to maximize efficiency and ROI
· Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and risks
· Lead implementation of systems and processes that support long-term growth
Own Financial Performance· Partner with Finance on budgets, forecasting, and financial planning
· Drive cost control initiatives without compromising quality
· Monitor contracts, vendors, and expenses to ensure optimal resource utilization
· Align operational decisions with profitability and long-term financial health
Ensure Compliance & Mitigate Risk· Maintain compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and contractual requirements
· Stay current on industry regulations and payer expectations
· Proactively identify and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks
· Support audits, quality assurance, and corrective action initiatives
Build & Lead High-Performing Teams· Lead, coach, and develop Operations leaders and staff
· Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
· Drive engagement, retention, and professional growth across teams
· Conduct regular performance coaching, feedback, and accountability conversations
Partner & Communicate at the Executive Level· Serve as a key liaison between Ownership and operational teams
· Deliver clear, consistent reporting on KPIs, financials, and key initiatives
· Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment and execution
· Build strong relationships across the organization and within the community
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Proven success leading multi-site operations with strong performance outcomes
· Demonstrated ability to drive profitability, efficiency, and scalable growth
· Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and forecasts
· Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams
· Ability to think strategically and execute with discipline and urgency
· Experience in healthcare, home care, or a regulated industry preferred

- Demonstrate strong commitment to compliance
- Knowledge of best practices for handling PHI in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Administrative specialty in related field – whether accounting, customer service, scheduling, billing, IT, project management, leadership, sales, marketing, business development, medical scheduling, staffing, care coordinator or coordination, recruiting, talent acquisition, compliance, office manager or management, business manager or management, human resources, or operations a bonus
- Experience in assisted living, facility, nursing home, or in home care a bonus
