POSITION SUMMARY:
The Infrastructure Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for the supervision of key infrastructure, water technical systems, and equipment at our Tennessee greenhouse. This position will maintain processes, systems, and structures to ensure all water technical equipment and infrastructure are operating reliably, efficiently, and safely. This person will hire and lead a high-performing team of, initially, 2 people, supervise day-to-day operation of water technical and infrastructure systems, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive success at the site level.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hire and develop a high-performing team.
- Assist in development and execution of systems, structures, and processes to ensure key infrastructure and systems operate effectively and reliably. This includes, but is not limited to, irrigation systems, lighting, greenhouse HVAC, boilers, compressors, backup Generator and greenhouse structure, ventilation (glass repair) and screens.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive PM program for infrastructure systems to reduce downtime and increase overall equipment effectiveness.
- Execute key reactive maintenance, when necessary, to minimize any downtime.
- Define what success looks like for their team using measurable data and key performance indicators (KPIs). Lead the team toward achieving success every day.
- Optimize the Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track performance and KPI’s and manage work orders.
- Assist in developing a cohesive relationship with key vendors to minimize downtime of key infrastructure.
- Assist in executing key capital projects related to water technical and infrastructure on time and within budget.
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement among the team and manage and promote Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally with construction, growing, and maintenance to drive operational success.

Requirements:REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
- Associates degree or higher level of education, Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other data analysis tools
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience required, with a significant preference to electrical experience (troubleshooting low/high voltage, pumps, motors). Additionally, plumbing experience (irrigation (PVC) and Heating (steel)) or a water utility background will be considered.
- Experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Understanding of PLC programming.
- No fear of heights (glass repair)
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Strong background in hiring and developing high-performing teams
- Physically capable of performing essential job functions, including lifting/climbing, and walking
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety protocols
