Receiving Clerk in Naples, Florida at Port Royal Club

Essential Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all incoming deliveries from vendors and suppliers.
• Verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect products for quality, freshness, damage, and proper packaging.
• Ensure all perishable products are received at proper temperatures and comply with food safety standards.
• Check deliveries for damaged boxes, shortages, overages, and other discrepancies before signing for shipments.
• Maintain accountability for all items received and ensure accurate receiving records.
• Deliver products from the Receiving Department to designated departments and profit centers throughout the Club.
• Organize and maintain receiving and storage areas in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, department managers, and fellow team members regarding deliveries and receiving issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service and interact with members and fellow employees with the highest level of professionalism.
• Follow all Port Royal Club safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous receiving, warehouse, inventory, food and beverage, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately count and verify inventory.
• Basic computer and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including coolers and freezers.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout the property as needed.
