About the role

The Assistant Branch Manager will play a crucial role on our management team by working with the Branch Manager to recruit, develop and lead a team of Client Service Representatives who will deliver outstanding and friendly service to both our consumer and business clients, with the goal of driving deposit growth. You will also be responsible for collaborating with the Branch Manager to identify and develop opportunities to deepen relationships with our current customers and find new customers through business and consumer outreach. In addition, you will empower our clients to seamlessly manage their accounts and resolve any issues that may arise, while ensuring their requests are handled efficiently and maintaining the highest standards of operational integrity. Finally, as a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to improve the bank's operations through policy and process innovation, as we believe that every team member, regardless of position, can make a valuable contribution to help us become one of America’s leading banks. This role has an in-office requirement.


Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains client relationships to drive deposit growth.
  • Oversees daily branch operations, ensuring alignment with policies set by senior management.
  • Recruits, develops, and retains a high-performing team through ongoing coaching, mentoring, and 'bench' building.
  • Champions a world-class customer experience by modeling and coaching exceptional service behaviors.
  • Upholds the highest ethical standards and ensures team members do the same.
  • Maintains regulatory compliance and adheres to bank policies and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy Act and risk management protocols.
  • Contributes innovative ideas for problem-solving, product/service enhancements, and efficiency improvements.
  • Assists the Branch Manager with performance reviews and new account openings.
  • May operate a teller drawer and handle customer service and product maintenance as needed.
  • Completes mandatory regulatory and compliance training.
  • This role requires employees to be in office.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Branch Operations
  • 3+ years of banking or related experience
  • Basic computer skills - familiarity with Google GSuite preferred
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • Creative problem solving that maintains the regulatory and ethical standards of the bank

The pay range for this role is:
60,000 - 80,000 USD per year(Main Office)
