As a Medical Science Liaison, CRM, you will develop and maintain credible scientific relationships with healthcare professionals and medical experts while providing valuable insights that support medical strategy and evidence generation. You will act as a scientific resource, facilitating meaningful exchanges and collaborating with internal teams to advance healthcare initiatives.
- Build and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with healthcare professionals, medical experts, and key decision-makers.
- Provide accurate, up-to-date scientific information and facilitate meaningful discussions around clinical data, treatment approaches, and healthcare advancements.
- Gather and communicate medical insights from external stakeholders to inform research, strategy development, and cross-functional planning.
- Develop and execute engagement plans that prioritize and strategically connect with relevant medical experts.
- Support scientific education initiatives, congress activities, and evidence-based discussions with external audiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams across medical, research, regulatory, and business functions in a matrix environment.
- Provide medical information related to products, clinical evidence, healthcare guidelines, and health economics.
- Analyze complex scientific information and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
- Adapt engagement approaches based on stakeholder needs while maintaining high standards of compliance and scientific integrity.
The ideal candidate is a scientifically experienced healthcare professional with strong communication skills, clinical knowledge, and the ability to build trusted relationships with medical experts. You are comfortable interpreting complex scientific information, working autonomously, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
- Advanced degree required, such as MD, PharmD, doctorate, or equivalent advanced scientific qualification with a strong medical or technical background.
- Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop credible peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals and scientific experts.
- Strong understanding of clinical research, medical strategy, and healthcare environments.
- Ability to synthesize complex scientific data and communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate scientific information within strategic and regulatory contexts.
- Familiarity with Canadian healthcare systems and reimbursement processes.
- Experience in customer-facing healthcare roles is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas is an advantage.
