Provides advanced respiratory care and rehabilitation by means of respiratory therapy treatment, therapeutic and diagnostic modalities under medical and technical supervision. Performs cardiac and pulmonary diagnostic tests. Remains proficient with respiratory therapy medications.

Professional & Technical Skills

Good written and oral communication skills

Education

High School Diploma or GED
-
CRT, or RRT by the NBRC
-

License(s) or Certification(s)

Indiana State Licensure, CRT, or RRT by the NBRC

Other Skills or Requirements

Customer service oriented personality. Experience in performing treadmills, holter monitors, cardiac event monitors, EKGs, pulmonary function tests, 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, experience in obtaining and interpreting ABGs.
