Job Description

Job Brief:
Senior Product Manager
to lead product discovery, validation, and unit-economics across multiple FinTech and AI-native ventures. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary squad — alongside Solution Architects, AI Engineers using rapid-development tooling (Replit, Lovable, Cursor, v0), UX designers, and a Technical PM — to take multiple raw use-case ideas through pain → value proposition → functional prototype → real-world validation in a single integrated programme.
You will partner closely with internal and external strategy teams, including domain Business Analysts, to develop and execute product strategy. You will own the product-management spine that turns their insight into investable concepts.

VentureDive Overview:
Founded in 2012 by veteran technology entrepreneurs from MIT and Stanford, VentureDive is the fastest-growing technology company in the region that develops and invests in products and solutions that simplify and improve the lives of people worldwide. We aspire to create a technology organization and an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region that is recognized as second to none in the world.

What you'll own
  • Discovery & opportunity framing. Translate raw business hypotheses into validated problem statements. Run Jobs-To-Be-Done mapping, customer interviews, and opportunity sizing across parallel prototypes working alongside domain BAs.
  • Value proposition & unit economics. Define the value prop, price point, channel hypothesis, and unit-economics shape for each venture. You should be comfortable building bottom-up cost / revenue models and stress-testing them with operators.
  • Prototype scope & MVP definition. Translate value prop into an 80/20 prototype scope. Work with Solution Architects on architectural trade-offs (we use NASA ATAM) and with AI Engineers on what gets wired up first. Decide what's in, what's out, what's a fast-follow.
  • Validation & PM-fit signal. Design the validation plan — activation events, retention cohorts, funnel-drop tracking, qualitative interview themes. Capture signal into a PM-fit recommendation that drives the go / iterate / kill call for each venture.
  • Stakeholder management. Hold the room with senior stakeholders, strategy partners, and external advisors. Translate technical complexity for business audiences and commercial reality for engineering audiences. Defend the recommendation.

Must-have experience
  • 8+ years in product management, with at least 3 years in a venture-building, 0-to-1, or new-product-creation context (corporate venture studio, accelerator, founding PM at an early-stage startup, or equivalent in-house innovation function).
  • Direct experience with AI / ML products as the product owner — not just adjacent. You have shipped at least one product where the AI / ML capability was the differentiator, and you can speak credibly about model behaviour, training data, and the gap between AI demo and AI in production.
  • FinTech track record. You have shipped products in FinTech — payments, lending, credit decisioning, embedded finance, wealth, insurance, or similar regulated consumer / SME finance. You understand compliance is a constraint, not an obstacle.
  • Rapid-prototyping fluency. You're comfortable with AI-augmented build tooling (Replit, Lovable, Cursor, v0, Bolt, Google AI Studio) and you've used them — directly or via your engineering counterpart — to compress build time from months to weeks.
  • Validation discipline. You know what activation, retention, funnel, and PM-fit signals to read for an early-stage venture. You've called "kill" on something promising before the data forced it. You know the difference between vanity metrics and decision metrics.
  • Commercial literacy. You can build a unit-economics model in a spreadsheet without help. You can sit in a room with strategy consultants and operators and credibly defend a price point.

Strong-to-have
  • Experience working alongside Tier-1 strategy consultancies (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Strategy&).
  • MENA, GCC, or KSA market experience — particularly with regulated FinTech (SAMA, CMA, central-bank licensing).
  • Telco-data or enterprise-data product experience — turning a large customer / behavioural data asset into monetisable features (segmentation, propensity, churn, credit scoring, fraud).
  • Direct-to-consumer FinTech app experience at scale (1M+ users).
  • Arabic language fluency or working-level proficiency.
  • Founding or early-team experience at a FinTech that has raised institutional capital.
