This role sits at the intersection of growth marketing, product marketing, and the emerging discipline of answer engine optimization. You will own the post-launch growth strategy for an AI-driven product, focusing on increasing visibility across answer engines and converting that visibility into measurable demand. Working in a fast-moving, highly cross-functional environment, you will design and run experiments across content, media, and partnerships to identify scalable growth opportunities. You will translate insights from AI search ecosystems into actionable playbooks, reporting frameworks, and product recommendations. This is a high-impact role for a marketer who thrives in ambiguity, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making. You will also help shape how AI-era discovery influences broader go-to-market strategy.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end growth and go-to-market strategy for an AI-focused product, with a strong emphasis on answer engine optimization and demand generation impact:
- Lead the post-launch growth strategy and AEO-driven marketing motion, ensuring strong visibility across AI answer engines and emerging search platforms
- Design, execute, and analyze growth experiments across content, owned channels, partnerships, creators, and review ecosystems
- Translate experiment results into scalable playbooks, repeatable growth strategies, and product improvement recommendations
- Build and maintain reporting frameworks that connect AEO visibility metrics to downstream demand generation outcomes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, growth, analytics, and web teams to align execution and priorities
- Champion AI tools and automation to improve experimentation speed, reporting efficiency, and marketing performance
You bring strong experience in growth marketing or product marketing, with a deep understanding of modern search behavior and AI-driven discovery:
- 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, SEO, AEO, product marketing, or related digital growth roles
- Strong understanding of content strategy, search ecosystems, and AI-powered discovery trends
- Proven expertise in SEO and AEO, including how they differ and complement each other
- Experience driving visibility across platforms such as AI answer engines and generative search tools
- Demonstrated success leading go-to-market strategy, including planning, execution, and performance tracking
- Strong analytical and storytelling abilities, with experience translating data into strategic insights
- Hands-on experience designing and running growth experiments in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with analytics and marketing tools such as HubSpot, Ahrefs, Looker, Hex, or similar platforms
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve marketing execution and decision-making
- Annual cash compensation ranging from $92,000 to $138,000, depending on experience
