Sr Technical Architect

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr Technical Architect in United States.

In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade SaaS solutions within a complex commercial operations ecosystem. You will act as a key technical authority, translating business needs into robust architecture and actionable technical requirements. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across Salesforce-based systems and related platforms. You will design end-to-end solutions that support pricing, quoting, contracting, and other commercial workflows at scale. Working in an agile environment, you will contribute to continuous improvement through iterative delivery and technical governance. This role offers high visibility, technical ownership, and the opportunity to shape critical digital transformation initiatives.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead technical requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders and translate business needs into clear technical specifications and architecture documents.
  • Design and implement scalable Salesforce-based solutions using REST APIs, APEX, Visualforce, and related technologies.
  • Architect end-to-end SaaS solutions supporting pricing, quoting, product rules, approvals, and commercial workflows.
  • Define and optimize system integration strategies, ensuring performance, security, and scalability across platforms.
  • Utilize tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Git, Bitbucket, VS Code, and Salesforce DX to support documentation, development, and CI/CD processes.
  • Analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimization strategies including load balancing and logging enhancements.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, technical grooming, and design reviews.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience delivering SaaS business solutions in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce development and architecture, including APEX, Visualforce, REST APIs, and Salesforce DX.
  • Experience designing solutions involving pricing models, product rules, approvals, and commercial operations workflows.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and development tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Confluence, JIRA, and VS Code extensions for Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, integration design, performance tuning, and secure scalable solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong skills in technical documentation and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a strong ability to lead technical discussions.

  • Competitive base salary range: $185,103.36 – $232,370.00 annually.
