Position Summary
Crescent Constructors, Inc. is seeking Laborers to support the construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Laborers perform a variety of tasks involving physical labor, including site preparation, material handling, and assisting skilled craft workers as needed. This role provides hands-on experience in heavy civil construction while contributing to critical community infrastructure and maintaining a strong focus on safety.
What You'll Do
- Perform tasks involving physical labor on active construction projects
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist with jobsite setup and control measures
- Operate basic hand and power tools as required
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate potential hazards
- Work in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Lift, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Perform other labor-related duties as instructed by the supervisor
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 1 year of laborer experience in water and wastewater infrastructure or a related construction industry
- General construction labor skills
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Experience operating additional equipment or instruments is a plus
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including prolonged standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and climbing
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to take direction from supervisors and remain task-oriented
- Commitment to following all company and general safety rules, policies, and guidelines
