Job Description
Position Summary:
The Cook assumes the responsibility for the preparation of a variety of foods for
patients, cafeteria services, and special functions. The Cook is also involved in
sanitation and kitchen maintenance and other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
A. Education:
High school diploma, equivalent or higher education required.
Must maintain Food Handlers certificate with 30 days of hire.

In addition, may have completed course work in sanitation, food
production, kitchen management, etc.
B. Training and Experience:
Food Service experience preferred.
VI. Unusual Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Work is of moderate demand; walking and standing a great deal of the time;
lifting supplies and moving equipment some of the time. Hours may be irregular.
