Job summary
The fuel Driver will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport fuels to customer sites and AFD-owned card locks. You will be responsible for yard management and lube deliveries.
Your Schedule: Monday to Friday (start at 7 am), Occasional weekend work if needed, and some overtime might be available. This position offers 30-40 hours weekly.

What you will do day-to-day:
- Loading and unloading fuel while being compliant with applicable safety regulations.
- Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections.
- Ensuring load-related documentation is complete and accurate, including driver logs and bills of lading, and safety documents.
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness, greasing, and tire chain upkeep.
- Communicating effectively with customers, co-workers, and officials.
- Drive the AFD truck with a trailer in combination with safety and customer service as the number 1 Priority.
What you need to succeed:
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License and clean driver’s abstract.
- 2+ years of driving experience (we’re willing to train).
- Comfortable using electronic tools like E Logs, Tablets, etc.
- Flexible schedule to maximize the efficiency of assets.
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests, as well as physical fitness tests.
As part of the interview process, all candidates will undergo pre-employment checks. If an offer is extended, it will be contingent upon the successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including a criminal record check and a 50 Lb. Fitness testing, Drug & Alcohol testing, and verification of employment references.
