Ideal for a hands-on safety professional who thrives in construction environments and values continuous improvement and accountability.

Accountabilities:

Support and enforce site safety programs by working closely with field teams, subcontractors, and project leadership to ensure compliance and foster a strong safety culture across renewable energy construction sites.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, documenting findings and coordinating corrective actions to ensure compliance with OSHA and internal standards
  • Lead and participate in safety meetings, including weekly toolbox talks, onboarding orientations, and ongoing safety communications for field teams
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries, ensuring accurate reporting and implementation of corrective and preventive measures
  • Coordinate safety equipment usage, first aid readiness, and site compliance documentation in collaboration with project supervision
  • Track, maintain, and report safety records, inspections, and incident documentation to leadership and relevant stakeholders
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures while supporting continuous improvement in hazard identification and risk mitigation
Requirements:

This role requires strong construction safety experience, ideally within large-scale commercial or renewable energy projects, along with the ability to operate in a highly mobile, field-based environment.

  • 5+ years of experience managing safety on construction or infrastructure projects, with exposure to renewable energy preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • OSHA 500 certification strongly preferred; CHST certification a plus
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations, hazard control, and incident investigation practices
  • Ability to manage safety orientations, compliance programs, and site-level safety operations independently
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across diverse field teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel 100% nationwide
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and project scope, with location-based salary ranges (e.g., $85,900–$123,700 depending on region)
  • Travel subsistence and project-based incentives in accordance with company guidelines
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Retirement savings options and financial wellness programs
  • Opportunities to work on large-scale renewable energy projects across the United States
  • Exposure to a mission-driven construction environment focused on safety and sustainability
  • Career development opportunities within a large-scale construction organization
