You will help ensure consistent execution of strategic account plans while influencing deal outcomes and solution architecture.

Accountabilities
  • Partner closely with Major Account Managers to execute strategic account plans and translate business objectives into technical and commercial deliverables.
  • Lead solution design efforts, supporting bid preparation, pricing alignment, and proposal development for complex electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct regular customer engagement visits to strengthen relationships and gather requirements across strategic accounts.
  • Coordinate cross-functional internal teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and service, to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Support executive-level customer interactions by providing technical expertise and solution insights across the customer lifecycle.
  • Manage opportunity tracking, forecasting, and CRM updates to ensure accurate pipeline visibility and reporting.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and customer needs to inform solution positioning and account strategy.
  • Support issue resolution and escalation management to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery excellence.
  • Collaborate across business units to ensure consistent execution of MTDC/data center account strategies.
Requirements

This role requires strong experience in technical sales or sales engineering within the electrical or infrastructure industry, ideally supporting complex, large-scale customer environments such as data centers. Candidates should bring a strong mix of technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and customer-facing experience, along with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.

  • 5+ years of experience in the electrical industry, technical sales, or sales engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, including switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, PDUs, and related infrastructure components.
  • Experience supporting data center or mission-critical infrastructure customers is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop proposals, prepare bids, and support value-based selling strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce) and sales reporting processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and commercial teams in a matrix environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Retirement benefits including 401(k) plans.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements (remote US-based role).
  • Life, disability, and additional voluntary insurance options.
  • Employee assistance and wellness programs.
