Job Description

About the Role:

The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of the manufacturing floor to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production output. This position is responsible for coordinating production activities, managing team performance, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The Production Supervisor will lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support to meet production goals and deadlines. They will also collaborate with other departments such as quality control, maintenance, and supply chain to optimize workflow and resolve any operational issues. Ultimately, the role ensures that production targets are met while maintaining a safe work environment and fostering continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with automated production systems and industrial equipment.
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership and conflict resolution.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and environmental compliance standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related discipline.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet established schedules and quality standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate production team members to achieve performance and safety objectives.
  • Monitor production processes and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
