*This role reports into a local warehouse but can require occasional travel with overnight stays.

Supervisor, Warehouse

In this role, you'll oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, timely receiving and distribution of materials, and efficient support for our field teams. You'll demonstrate Ownership by taking accountability for warehouse performance, create Impact by ensuring our teams have the materials they need to serve customers, and bring Intensity through a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.

Because success doesn't happen in silos, you'll Win Together by collaborating with Purchasing, Operations, Construction, Installation & Repair, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to keep projects moving and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, coordinating the receipt, storage, transfer, and distribution of materials to support field operations
  • Monitor warehouse performance metrics such as space utilization, turnaround time, and labor utilization to create operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, internal controls, and company policies
  • Transports material as needed, using company vehicle and/or box truck. Some deliveries will require overnight stay dependent upon length of travel.

Inventory Management & Controls

  • Conduct audits, identify process gaps, and implement corrective actions to maintain operational excellence
  • Ensure accurate inventory control, minimizing stock discrepancies and optimizing stock levels
  • Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions

People Leadership

  • Recruit, develop, and lead warehouse supervisors, and support staff
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities
  • Conduct performance reviews, performance improvement plans, and termination decisions when warranted
  • Foster a performance-driven, collaborative, and safety-focused culture

Required Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
  • Experience working with ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems (NetSuite preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under time-sensitive and high-pressure conditions
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed
  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and proof of insurance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Analytics, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Sitetracker, or similar platforms
  • Telecommunications or utility industry experience

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and move throughout a warehouse environment for extended periods.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to perform physical activities associated with receiving, organizing, moving, and distributing warehouse materials.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment, with appropriate training and authorization.
  • Ability to work in warehouse environments that may include varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, and moving equipment.
  • Ability to perform computer-based administrative tasks, including inventory tracking, reporting, and system updates.
  • Ability to travel between warehouse locations and make material deliveries using company vehicles or box trucks, including occasional overnight travel.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
