We’re currently seeking motivated Warehouse Associates to join our Calgary Warehouse team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is essential in ensuring efficient inventory handling, order fulfillment, and the smooth operation of our supply chain. Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of the warehouse, handling shipments with care, operating equipment like forklifts, and making sure all products meet our quality standards. Whether you're inspecting incoming or outgoing shipments for content and quality, your attention to detail and reliability will help us continue delivering excellence to our customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Shipping & Receiving:
- Accurately process and document incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Match shipments to purchase orders and verify product conditions.
- Conduct quality control checks on all incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to immediate supervisor.
- Oversee the secure loading and unloading of deliveries.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipping materials.
- Sort, stock, and organize products according to procedures.
- Track inventory levels and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Participate in monthly inventory cycle counts.
Equipment Operation:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is used in accordance with safety guidelines.
General Duties:
- Maintain an organized and clean work area in line with safety policies.
- Address and resolve issues related to missing documents, shipments, or deliveries.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills:
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to weigh and measure items.
- Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including counterbalance forklift and Raymond reach truck.
- Computer literacy.
- Able to communicate proficiently in English, both written and verbally.
Non-Technical Skills:
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Self-motivated and demonstrated strong work ethic.
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team and positive team attitude.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Forklift certification or equivalent experience an asset.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., perform repetitive heavy lifting, and bend/stand for extended periods of time.
Working Hours and Location:
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (overtime as required).
- Located at 17 Heatherglen Crescent, Rocky View County.
- We are NOT accessible by public transit so you must have your own mode of transportation.
