Job Title: Accounts Receivables Support Assistant

Job Summary:

The A/R Support Assistant is responsible for the management of the account base within specified payment terms, minimizing bad debts, and maintaining up to date, accurate customer files.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collect, monitor, and analyze customer data
• Maintain accurate data in financial system
• Notification and follow thru of resolving skip and short payments
• Daily collection tasks issued such as calling overdue accounts or short pays
• Manage self-service portals
• Assist in posting of customer payments
• Calculate credits for early-pay discounts
• Print-out customer reports
• Invoice Adjustments
• Answering sales rep requests including questions on customer deductions
• Establish lines of communication with vendors
• Deduction Clearing
• Additional duties as assigned

Hours & Classification:

Accounts Receivables employee will work 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday and be classified as a Full time non - exempt employee.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 - 2 years data entry experience
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Self-management
• Knowledge working with technology
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel and ERP Systems
