Position Summary
The Scheduled Maintenance Coordinator supervises and supports aircraft maintenance operations for the company’s fleet, with a focus on King Air aircraft. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and serves as the front-line supervisor for four AOG Maintenance Controllers working a rotating 24/7 schedule. The coordinator is responsible for scheduling, tracking, authorizing, and documenting all scheduled maintenance and repairs. This role also supports AOG operations as needed and requires strong communication with internal teams and external vendors.

Position Summary

This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and serves as the front-line supervisor for four AOG Maintenance Controllers working a rotating 24/7 schedule. The coordinator is responsible for scheduling, tracking, authorizing, and documenting all scheduled maintenance and repairs. This role also supports AOG operations as needed and requires strong communication with internal teams and external vendors.
Essential Functions
- Directs and oversees the priorities and activities of aircraft scheduled maintenance
- Works with the Program Manager, Maintenance Manager, USFS and on-site maintenance to track aircraft maintenance and coordinate with the MRO to minimize impact on aircraft availability.
- Provides aircraft and maintenance status report at the end of the day in appropriate turnover system to ensure seamless Scheduled and AOG MX operations.
- Complies with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Regulations, contract requirements and company flight operations manual/procedures.
- Maintains assigned company standard operating procedures manual areas associated with maintenance and parts
- Supports and ensures on-site staff perform inventory tracking of Tenax owned equipment, tooling, and spare parts related to the aircraft. (items stored at MRO’s- annually inventoried)
- Reviews and responds to delays and AOG issues as required. Develops and implements changes to reduce recurrence and downtime.
- Supports other program requirements during the work period to include but not limited to aircraft tracking and emergency logistics support.
- Performs other duties as the situation dictates or as assigned.
- Program improvements, be actively involved in improving the overall safety and quality of the fleet.
- Responsible for creating and keeping track of Purchase Orders for all scheduled maintenance activities.
- Supports the SMS program
Supervisory Responsibility
- Direct supervision of four AOG Maintenance Controllers who cover 24/7 operations.

- Expected travel will be 30%
- Onsite MRO oversight
- Other travel as required for Program Support
- Travel to Corporate office as required
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Thorough working knowledge of FARs Part 43, 91, 135 and 145.
- Familiarity with FAA forms 337 & 8110-3 and DER supporting engineering substantiation documentation
- At least 10 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds
- Ability to work extra hours when necessary
- Ability to travel as needed
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
- Successful Completion of Background Check and DOT Drug Testing
Preferred Qualifications
- Avionics experience
- Inspection Authorization (IA)
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field
