Overview
Apex Industries is currently recruiting a Manufacturing Manager to join our Northridge Stone group. The Manufacturing manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the operations of the stone-manufacturing facility, under the direction of a general manager or other senior managers.

The Manufacturing manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the operations of the stone-manufacturing facility, under the direction of a general manager or other senior managers.
Job duties
The following identifies main activities and tasks associated with the Manufacturing Manager Role;
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the stone-manufacturing facility.
- Develop and implement plans to efficiently use materials, labor and equipment to meet production targets.
- Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budget.
- Develop production schedules and maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products based on agreed inventory levels.
- Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work.
- Direct quality control inspection system and develop production reporting procedures.
- Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines.
- Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques.
Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary education in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including leadership or supervisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and quality control.
- Experience managing teams and driving production targets in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
