Tech Lead for Authoring Enhancements and support

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Tech Lead for Authoring Enhancements and Support in India.

This role sits at the intersection of cloud engineering, AI innovation, and platform architecture, focusing on building scalable, intelligent applications on AWS with a strong emphasis on Generative AI. You will lead the design and implementation of full-stack, serverless systems that power next-generation digital experiences and internal platforms. The position involves shaping architectural direction, driving engineering excellence, and enabling enterprise-wide adoption of AI-driven solutions. You will work closely with product, data science, and engineering teams to translate complex business needs into scalable, cloud-native solutions. The environment is highly collaborative and innovation-driven, with strong focus on accessibility, performance, and sustainability. This is a leadership role where you will also mentor engineers and influence technical standards across teams while actively contributing to hands-on development.

Accountabilities:
  • Architect and develop serverless, event-driven cloud-native applications using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, and S3.
  • Lead the design and implementation of Generative AI solutions, including RAG pipelines, Amazon Bedrock integrations, and context-aware AI systems.
  • Build reusable frameworks, internal tools, and developer platforms to improve scalability, maintainability, and engineering productivity.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and data science teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and user needs.
  • Define and enforce architectural standards, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.
  • Mentor and guide engineering teams, contributing to technical leadership and capability development across the organization.
  • Drive integration of agent-based systems and LLM-powered workflows into enterprise applications.
  • Champion accessibility-first design principles and inclusive engineering practices across platforms.
  • Contribute to observability, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of cloud systems.
  • Support delivery of production-grade AI/ML-enabled applications in a distributed cloud environment.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, or full-stack development roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services including Lambda, Bedrock, Step Functions, Redshift, Glue, ECS/EKS, and IAM.
  • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar languages for building scalable cloud-native applications.
  • Deep understanding of Generative AI concepts, including prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and context orchestration.
  • Experience designing and deploying agent-based architectures and AI-driven applications in production environments.
  • Strong background in system design, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture patterns.
  • Experience building internal developer platforms, frameworks, or automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, performance optimization, and cost management.
  • Proven leadership experience working with cross-functional engineering teams in complex environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction and align stakeholders.
  • Commitment to accessibility, inclusive design, and engineering best practices.
  • Experience in AI/ML product development or advanced cloud automation is highly desirable.
