This role plays a key part in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and performance of complex pension workflow systems that support critical financial and benefits operations. You will be responsible for defining, executing, and improving testing strategies across functional and technical areas in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Working closely with developers, business analysts, and solution designers, you will help translate requirements into robust test coverage that ensures high-quality releases. The position combines hands-on QA execution with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior analysts and guiding best practices. You will also contribute to improving QA processes, increasing efficiency, and strengthening overall delivery quality. This is a highly collaborative and impact-driven role where attention to detail and analytical thinking directly influence user experience and system reliability.
- Define, design, and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans in collaboration with functional leads, business analysts, and development teams.
- Analyze functional and technical documentation to identify test scenarios and develop detailed positive and negative test cases.
- Build, maintain, and execute structured test suites, ensuring complete coverage of new features and system changes with accurate test data and expected results.
- Monitor testing progress, report status, and escalate risks or defects that may impact timelines, scope, or quality.
- Participate in defect triage, impact analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA processes and efficiency.
- Mentor and support junior QA team members through peer reviews, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business requirements and delivered solutions.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 2 years in a senior QA role.
- Strong ability to interpret business and technical requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.
- Experience in interface testing and complex system validation.
- Knowledge or exposure to pension plan administration systems is highly desirable.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented mindset with a user-centric approach to quality.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and accountability for deliverables.
