Busser- The Mimosa House in Folsom, California at Mimosa House LLC

We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Busser to join our morning team! As a critical part of our front-of-house operations, you will keep the dining room moving at a fast pace during our busiest breakfast and brunch hours. Your primary mission is to ensure tables are cleared, sanitized, and reset swiftly so arriving guests can be seated without delay. • Type: Full-time or Part-time available
• Hours: Early mornings to early afternoons (e.g., 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM)
• Days: Weekend availability is required (Saturday and Sunday are our peak days)

Key Responsibilities

• Table Turnover: Clear dirty dishes, glassware, silverware, and trash from tables immediately after guests depart.
• Sanitation & Resetting: Clean and sanitize tabletops, chairs, and booths, and reset tables according to restaurant standards (menus, condiments, rolled silverware).
• Server Support: Assist servers by refilling water, clearing plates between courses (pre-bussing), and delivering coffee refills when needed.
• Dining Room Maintenance: Keep the dining floor clean and free of debris by sweeping up spills and messes quickly.
• FOH Organization: Stock the busser stations with clean linens, silverware, and glassware, and help transport tubs of dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
• Guest Hospitality: Greet guests warmly if they approach you and direct any specific requests or questions to their server.

Qualifications & Skills

• No prior experience required; we are happy to train anyone with a great attitude! (Previous restaurant experience is a plus).
• Ability to maintain a fast, efficient pace in a high-volume morning environment.
• Strong team-player mentality with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays/tubs (up to 30–40 lbs) for the duration of a 6-to-8-hour shift.
• Reliable transportation for early morning shift starts.
