Delivery Coordinator in SANDY, Oregon at RV DIRECT LLC
Job Description
Own the best day of a customer's RV purchase. No RV experience required; we'll train you.
About the Role
Johnson RV is hiring a Delivery Coordinator at our Sandy dealership. You'll be the person who makes
sure every customer leaves with a unit that's clean, fully working, and ready for the road, and who knows
how to use everything they bought.
Once a sale closes, you take it from there. You'll keep the delivery calendar, stay in touch with the
customer until pickup, work with our service team to get every promised item done, and run a delivery
the customer will tell their friends about. Sales, service and customers will all come to you with delivery
questions.
What You'll Do
• Own the Sandy delivery calendar, typically 40–60 deliveries a month.
• Call each buyer after the sale to congratulate them and go over what's being installed or fixed before
pickup.
• Work with the service shop daily to make sure prep, repairs and accessory installs are done on time.
If something won't make it, flag it early and set a plan with sales.
• Have units staged the night before, plugged in, and checked: slides out, awning working, systems
tested, unit clean.
• Do a final quality walk on every unit with the work order in hand before the customer sees it.
• Lead and support our walkthrough team, and do customer walkthroughs yourself as needed.
• Show customers the gear that makes RV life easier, like surge protectors, wheel chocks and water
filters, and help them get set up before they drive away.
• Introduce every customer to their service advisor so they know who to call next.
• Handle delivery-day issues on the spot and decide who needs to fix them.
• Keep records current in our CRM (DriveCentric) and dealership software (IDS).
Who Does Well Here
People from many backgrounds do well in this job: auto or powersports delivery, service advising,
hospitality, event coordination, retail management, or a technician who wants to move off the tools and
into a customer-facing job. What matters more than RV knowledge:
• You're organized, and you take it personally when something falls through the cracks.
• You're comfortable with computers and pick up new software quickly.
• You like explaining how things work and can stay calm and friendly when something goes wrong.
• You follow up without being reminded.
• You're mechanically curious: you want to know how the slide, inverter or water heater works, not just
that it does.
What We Provide
• Hands-on training at our reconditioning center, where you'll work alongside our technicians on unit
prep and systems.
• Training from manufacturers and our service leadership.
• A role with real ownership of the customer experience.
• Pay: $48–$65k salary + performance-based incentives/commission.
• Benefits: 401k, medical/dental/vision plans, paid time off.
Requirements
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to work on your feet, outdoors in all weather, and climb in, around and on top of RVs.
• Schedule: full-time, including some Saturdays.
