Job Description
CDL A Regional Truck Driver
Southshore Distribution is seeking a qualified and dependable Class A Truck Driver for a full-time, day time Regional position. This role involves operating a 53’ dry van Monday through Friday, with no evening or weekend shifts. The position offers a consistent schedule, allowing drivers to be home every night. We are looking for a safety-conscious, professional individual who will represent our company well while providing timely and courteous service to our local customers. Responsibilities:- To be DOT compliant and follow all company safety procedures.
- FMCSA compliant and Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse compliant.
- Ensure that all proper documentation is in order.
- Drive commercial motive equipment. (Class A CDL driver's license.)
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Good customer relations.
- Other duties as directed.
- Must pass drivers test.
- Must have all state and federal documents required for driving all related equipment.
- Ability to interact within a team environment.
- Two years' experience preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to operate a 26 foot straight truck.
- Normal driving environment.
- Work hours may vary depending on our customers scheduled delivery time.
- Our routes have you home every night and weekends!
- We pay a competitive hourly rate of pay!
